We want to round off this year in a slightly different way within the framework of Regionalne razvojne agencije za Koroško. Because we really care about "taking" Koroška high, together with all stakeholders, and shaping it into an even more attractive, entrepreneurial, competitive, accessible and green region. We are aware that cooperation is key. This is also one of the important messages of the business-social event, which will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, between 10 am and 1 pm, in the National Hall Mežica.

In the introductory part, you will be addressed by Angelca Mrak, Chairwoman of the Development Council of the Koroška Region, and we will be joined by Dr. Aleksander Jevšek, Minister of Cohesion and Regional Development. Jure Knez, Head of the Network Business Incubator Koroška, will present the view we have titled CARINIA – WHERE ARE WE?

As a common thread and as the title of the round table, we have chosen "How to attract and retain talent in the region?" We are honored to have the following discuss with us:

Uroš Rozman

RRA Koroška d.o.o.

Uroš Rozman, director of RRA Koroška doo, has a degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in spatial planning. He is considered a very ambitious, proactive, principled and connecting person. With a developed vision and clear goals for the future, he is ambitiously opening a new chapter and guidelines for the further development of the Koroška region. He is originally from Styria, but his heart has belonged to Koroška in every respect for more than a decade.

Rok Capl, director of the public agency SPIRIT Slovenia, swears by dialogue, networking and teamwork in his work. Together with his employees at the agency, the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport and other partners, he strives every day to ensure that Slovenia is an entrepreneurial, innovative, technologically advanced, export-oriented and attractive destination for foreign investors.

Sonja Šmuc

DEWESoft d.o.o.

Sonja Šmuc, Master of Entrepreneurship, is the CEO of openDAQ, a company that develops platforms for data acquisition systems, and the Vice President for Strategic Projects at Dewesoft. She has led the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the SBC, and the Manager Association. She has been a business editor and journalist for many years. She is the Honorary Consul of Iceland and co-author of a book on export risks.

Primož Gams

Dogs4motion d.o.o.

Primož Gams, co-founder of Dogs4motion, a veterinary rehabilitation and sports medicine center for dogs, is a dedicated young entrepreneur who, with his innovation, creative thinking, and continuous education, is breaking new ground in the industry both locally and globally. He is a passionate mountain biker, and with his heart and positive energy, he keeps people motivated and connected.

Jernej Duler

Innoduler d.o.o.

Jernej Duler is first and foremost a dedicated husband and father, who also carries his values into his entrepreneurial endeavors. He is a passionate athlete who believes in the importance of physical fitness to overcome daily challenges. He is a man who always looks ahead and creates for the next generations, with an emphasis on sustainability and progress. His passion is robotics and the Industry 5.0 mindset, which he sees as a key area for the future of industry and society.
