Subject: Innovation Day 2026 brings together inspiring stories, expert discussions and presentations of solutions that show how innovation strengthens competitiveness, resilience and a safer future. The program raises questions of a winning mindset in uncertain conditions, the role of the state in breakthrough innovation, the importance of knowledge, the green transition and cooperation between industry and science. 58th International Craft and Business Fair MOS 2026

Subject: MOS is the largest business and trade fair event in the region, focused on connecting entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainable construction, technology and development. The focus will be on two content areas: modern and energy-efficient living with solutions for construction, renovation, equipment and tourism, and business opportunities that include industry, digitalization, green technologies, networking and knowledge exchange. The event will be complemented by lectures, workshops, consulting and interactive content for visitors of all generations.

Business visit of the Slovenian electrical industry to Austrian Carinthia

Subject: The business visit will be intended for Slovenian companies from the electrical industry that want to strengthen international cooperation and establish new business and development connections. Participants will visit Infineon, wtronic and PMS Group, learn about their development orientations, production capacities and needs for suppliers and partners. 21st Forum of Crafts and Entrepreneurship in Slovenia

Subject: This year's Forum on Crafts and Entrepreneurship will focus on the beginning of the new government's term and the dialogue between small businesses and the executive branch. The Small Business Development Strategy 2026-2030 will be presented with ten key demands of craftsmen and entrepreneurs. The central part will be a conversation with Prime Minister Janez Janša about development challenges, competitiveness, tax environment, labor legislation, de-bureaucratization, and measures to preserve jobs and create new development opportunities.

International Wood Fair 2026 in Klagenfurt

Subject: The event will connect companies and experts from the fields of forestry, sawmilling, wooden construction, carpentry, transport, bioenergy and hunting. There will be an important emphasis on international networking, as delegations from South Tyrol and Slovenia have been announced. Public tender for the implementation of a measure to promote the development of entrepreneurship and self-employment in the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec in 2026

Subject: The call is intended to support self-employment in the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec. Eligible are self-employed persons with permanent residence, registered office and activity in the municipality, who started self-employment between 1 September 2025 and 31 August 2026 and maintain it for at least one year. An individual beneficiary can receive 1,000 euros, a total of 25,000 euros is available, and the funds are allocated in the order of receipt of applications until the funds are spent.

Public tender for co-financing investments of micro new companies in the Municipality of Mislinja 2026

Subject: The call supports micro-new enterprises registered as of 1 January 2023, which are based and operate in the municipality of Mislinja. New equipment and machinery, land and business premises, and intangible investments are co-financed. EUR 6,000 in grants are available; each investment can receive a maximum of EUR 1,500 or 50% of the net value. A minimum 25% equity share is required, and applications are also assessed on the basis of innovation, technological impact, and new jobs.

P1-2 plus 2026 | Guarantees of the Bank Loan Fund with interest rate subsidy

Subject: The call for proposals P1-2 plus 2026 provides micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with more favorable bank loans with a 60 or 80 percent guarantee from the Slovenian Enterprise Fund and a subsidized interest rate. It is intended for financing investments and working capital, especially digitalization, green and circular economy projects. The loan for investments amounts to up to EUR 1.25 million, for working capital up to EUR 200,000, with up to 80 percent coverage of eligible costs.

Public call for proposals for promoting partnerships for entry into foreign markets 2025-2028 (JR Partnerships 25-28)

Subject: The call encourages the integration of at least three and at most five small and medium-sized enterprises for joint presence in foreign markets. It co-finances activities to strengthen international competitiveness, enter new markets, develop and present a joint offer, acquire export knowledge, marketing campaigns, appear at international events and establish business connections. The aim is to increase export efficiency, the visibility of partnerships and the possibility of long-term cooperation with foreign partners.

Public tender for co-financing the establishment and operation of competence centers for human resource development in the period 2026-2029

Subject: The call supports the establishment and operation of 20 competence centres for human resource development and informal training of employees in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. The aim is to strengthen digital, green and sectoral competences, innovation, productivity and competitiveness of SMEs. EUR 14.58 million is available, and each project partnership can receive up to EUR 728,878. The partnership must include at least 15 SMEs, one of which is the applicant.

KAVA Call 14 - Upscaling: funding of up to €2.5 million for innovative raw material projects

Subject: EIT RawMaterials has launched a call for projects that prepare proven raw materials technologies for market entry. Projects can receive between EUR 500,000 and 2.5 million, last a maximum of 2.5 years and require at least 50% co-financing. International consortia with at least two partners covering at least two sides of the knowledge triangle are eligible to apply. The required starting TRL is 5, with a target TRL of 8.

Subject: BIZI Circular is a promotional investment loan from the Slovenian Regional Development Fund, intended to co-finance projects for the transition of companies to a circular economy. Public invitation to employers to implement local on-the-job training programs "USPOSABLJAM.SE" 2026-2027

Subject: Public invitation to tender collects offers from employers for the implementation of local on-the-job training programmes "Usposabljam.se" 2026–2027. It includes two identical programmes, which differ only in their target group and source of funding. Unemployed persons are included in the work process at the employer for three months, where they gain knowledge and experience for greater employability under mentorship. The aim is to improve the competitiveness of the unemployed on the local labour market.

Public invitation to employers to implement a project within the Learning Workshops+ program

Subject: In a public invitation, the Institute is collecting offers from employers for the project Learning Workshops+. It is intended for practical training of unemployed persons who need in-depth treatment. Participants are trained under mentorship in a social entrepreneurship environment, and with the support of a job coach, they overcome obstacles (e.g. long-term unemployment, disability).
