We cordially invite respected tourism providers, organizers, local tourism organizations and interested stakeholders in the field of tourism to attend an education on the topic of sustainable tourism.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. at the Forest Culture Center in Radlje ob Dravi.

Programme

10:00–11:30

Sustainable business as an opportunity for the development and improvement of the competitive position of a tourism provider

General presentation of the Green Scheme and the conditions for including tourism providers in it, as well as a presentation of international sustainability labels and the SLOVENIA GREEN label.
Sustainable conduct of stakeholders in tourism - presentation of criteria and examples of good practice.
The carbon footprint of tourism providers and guests and measures to reduce it.

Lecture and workshop on sustainable management

The event will take place at the Forest Culture Center in Radlje ob Dravi (Koroška cesta 66a, 2360 Radlje ob Dravi). There are several parking options, suitable locations are marked in the image below.

The event is organized by Regionalna razvojna agencija za Koroško as the leading destination of Koroška in cooperation with the Public Institute of ŠKTM Radlje ob Dravi. Radlje ob Dravi received the gold Slovenia Green Destination label this year and are kindly hosting us in their town.

The event is co-financed by the Slovenian Tourist Board as part of the "Public tender for co-financing activities for the promotion and digitalization of the tourist offer of leading tourist destinations in Slovenia in 2025".
