Invitation to a regional meeting of key stakeholders in addressing energy and transport poverty

Dear Sir/Madam!

We cordially invite you to a regional meeting of key stakeholders in addressing energy and transport poverty. The aim of the meeting is to explore opportunities for cooperation and formulate recommendations for effective actions on the ground.

Municipalities and regions increasingly recognize the need to support vulnerable groups in the field of mobility and energy, but often face a lack of capacity and financial resources. The key question is how to establish a network of actors at the local level that could comprehensively address these issues. We also want to shed light on the role of local communities in the implementation of the National Social Climate Plan, which is being prepared for Slovenia by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy. This plan will be the basis for Slovenia to use the EU Social Climate Fund. The funds from the fund will be intended for vulnerable households, micro-enterprises and users of transport.

As an important player in this field , we invite you to share your experiences and suggestions for more effective networking and action.

We will meet on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 10 am in the hall of Bukovje Manor in Dravograd ( Bukovje 13, 2370 Dravograd ). Applications are being accepted until February 10, 2025, to apply, please fill out the online form.
