Life is good – in the Alps

We invite you to the event "It's good to live - in the Alps" , which will take place on March 31, 2026 , starting at 10 am in Črna at Koroškem ( Kulturni dom Črna na Koroškem, Center 153, Črna na Koroškem ).

The Alps are a naturally and culturally diverse mountain range that stretches from Slovenia to Monaco, home to almost 15 million people and home to more than 43,000 animal and plant species.

Among other things, the Alps are bound by the Alpine Convention – an international, legally binding treaty for the protection of the Alps and the promotion of sustainable development in the Alpine region, and represents the cooperation of eight Alpine countries and the European Union. The Alpine Convention area in Slovenia includes the territory of 62 municipalities – some in their entirety, some with only parts of settlements.
