Conference: Market Access Day, Ljubljana

The Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, Sector for Trade Policy, is organizing the Market Access Day conference on November 27, 2025 at the Rog Center in Ljubljana , in cooperation with the European Commission , intended for companies exporting to markets outside the EU.

The event will shed light on how trade policy can help companies access markets outside the European Union in the new geopolitical reality.

The event's program includes a high-level discussion with distinguished guests on current trade policy challenges in times of geopolitical change .

The European Commission's support options for promoting exports and overcoming trade barriers in non-EU markets will be presented, including a practical demonstration of the use of the free online platform "Access2Markets" , where companies can obtain information on the conditions for exporting to non-EU markets, and the Single Entry Point, through which companies can report trade barriers in non-EU markets. The benefits of EU free trade agreements, which go beyond lower tariffs , and success stories of companies already benefiting from the agreements will also be presented. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions.

The event is free and will be held in Slovenian, with simultaneous interpretation into English and from English into Slovenian.

After the official part, there will be networking and lunch for all registered participants.

The number of places is limited, so companies are encouraged to apply early. Applications are open until the vacancies are filled or no later than November 20, 2025 .
