Regardless of whether you are just developing a product or service or are already in the phase where you operate on the market and want to grow as a company, sooner or later you will encounter the problem of financing. It is practically impossible for potential entrepreneurs and companies to obtain a loan from a bank, so one option is investment from business angels.

Business angels are usually serial entrepreneurs with extensive entrepreneurial experience. They are willing to invest in startups with a good business idea and help them launch their idea on the market or expand their existing business, both financially and through mentoring.

In Slovenia, the most well-known club in this area is the Business Angels of Slovenia. Its purpose is to connect business angels with suitable startups, and their investments range from approx. €50,000 to €400,000 - depending on the stage the company is in. This time they will be presenting themselves in Koroška for the first time!
