MPIKov AS 2024: How to develop a product and bring it to market

  • Datum
    14. 5. 2024

MPIK, in collaboration with the Katapult accelerator and Dewesoft, invites you to a series of four workshops, where we will reveal the key steps for the successful development, production and marketing of physical products.

Every year, MPIKov AS brings you content that stands out for its advancedness and market appeal. This year's edition is intended for everyone who is facing the challenges of developing a physical (hardware) product. MPIK, in collaboration with the Katapult accelerator and Dewesoft, invites you to a series of four workshops, where we will reveal the key steps for successful development, production and marketing of physical products. Take advantage of this unique opportunity and gain skills that will help you set your product on the path to success. Join us and become an MPIKov AS!

By participating in the workshops you will learn:

  • rapid prototyping and market validation methods
  • the connection between technology, speed, cost and industrialization - i.e. how to quickly and cheaply make a prototype that we can later reproducibly industrialize
  • What tools and processes do we need to set up production, and at what quantities does it make sense to adapt these tools and processes?
  • the connection between development and production
  • the importance of self-testing
  • certification process and CE marking and how to obtain it
  • At the last workshop, which will take place in Trbovlje, we will visit Katapult and the high-tech company Dewesoft

Who are the workshops intended for?

  • beginners on the entrepreneurial path with a physical (or even software) product

Katapult is known as the only environment of its kind in Slovenia to support entrepreneurs with a physical product. In addition to machines, test facilities and support services, they also offer mentoring and practical training. The synergy between the high-tech company Dewesoft and the Katapult startup environment is key.
