Smart specialization represents a platform for directing development investments to areas where regions have a critical mass of knowledge, capacity and competences. You are invited to a regional workshop organized by the RRA Koroška, where, in addition to smart specialization, we will also talk about SRIPs, the STEP platform, current and planned development calls and good practices of Koroška companies.

By participating in the workshop you will learn:

the S5 smart specialization strategy and the opportunities it offers;
SRIPe - Strategic Development and Innovation Partnerships GoDigital (IT technologies), Circular Economy and MATPRO (advanced materials);
STEP - Strategic Technologies Platform for Europe;
current and planned calls for development co-financing;
good practices of Koroška companies, members of SRIP;
have the opportunity to have direct contact with representatives of SRIPs, the ministry, support institutions and successful companies;
had plenty of opportunities to network and learn about new business opportunities.

The workshop is intended for:

companies that want to strengthen their innovation, increase added value and integrate into national and international development chains;
companies already involved or interested in being involved in SRIPs, especially in the areas of digitalization, circular economy and advanced materials;
research and development organizations looking for project opportunities and connections with the economy;
entrepreneurs and startups that develop solutions with high added value and potential for growth in foreign markets;
business support institutions;
existing and potential applicants for calls for development co-financing.
