Gathering interest in participating in the outgoing economic delegation to Budapest
The SPIRIT Slovenia Public Agency, the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA) and the Ministry of the Economy, Labour and Sport invite representatives of Slovenian companies to express their interest in participating in the outgoing economic delegation to Budapest, which is expected to take place in early October 2026.
The delegation is organized on the sidelines of the international fair ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA , one of the leading regional events in the field of environmental technologies, waste management, water management, sustainable development and circular economy.
Slovenian companies will have the opportunity to strengthen their operations on the Hungarian market, establish new business connections, and explore opportunities for cooperation in the field of environmental and sustainable technologies in Central and Eastern Europe.
Delegation program
The central part of the delegation will be a visit to the international fair ENVIRONTEC powered by ÖKOINDUSTRIA, which will take place in Budapest between 7 and 9 October 2026. It is a leading regional event in the field of environmental technologies, waste management, water management, sustainable development, circular economy and related activities.
The program will also include an international B2B matchmaking event, a conference on business opportunities and environmental projects in the Western Balkans, and numerous networking opportunities with international partners, institutions, and industry representatives.
Who is the delegation for?
The delegation is intended for Slovenian companies operating in the following areas:
- environmental and clean technologies,
- waste management,
- water management,
- energy and renewable energy sources,
- sustainable solutions,
- green transition and circular economy,
- consulting, engineering and other related activities.

Interested companies are kindly invited to confirm their interest via the electronic application form no later than July 30, 2026, or until the vacancies are filled.
If sufficient interest is expressed by Slovenian companies, the final program of the delegation will be formed and the companies will be informed in a timely manner about further steps, registration and the program.
