The start of the cycling race across Slovenia will be in Radlje ob Dravi, and the finish will be in Ormož

The meeting was chaired by the President of the Partnership for the Drava Cycling Route and Mayor of the Municipality of Radlje ob Dravi, Dr. Alan Bukovnik. Miran Pušnik, Mayor of the Municipality of Koroške, also attended the meeting. Those present unanimously confirmed that the start of the internationally renowned race will be in Radlje ob Dravi, and the finish in Ormož.

It is an event that will bring exceptional promotion to the region, but at the same time requires great responsibility and extensive organization. The meeting concluded with the adoption of a decision to prepare a letter of intent, which will be solemnly signed at one of the next assemblies of the Partnership for the Drava Cycling Route.

This is an event that goes beyond sports, as it represents an exceptional opportunity to promote municipalities and the region. The start of the stage in Radlje ob Dravi and the finish in Ormož are the result of good inter-municipal cooperation in the Partnership for the Drava Cycling Route and proof that the municipalities along the Drava River can act unitedly and ambitiously.
