Meeting of the entrepreneurial support environment of the Koroška region together for even stronger entrepreneurship in the region

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, a meeting of the entrepreneurship support environment was held at the MPIK Innovatorium Slovenj Gradec incubator, aimed at connecting institutions, exchanging opinions, and co-creating better conditions for the development of companies and entrepreneurs in the region.

The event, which took place under the organizational auspices of ALP PECA doo, the Slovenj Gradec Business Center and the Regional Development Agency for Koroška d.o.o., brought together key organizations in one place, which with their programs and services create a supportive environment, and strengthen mutual cooperation and the foundations for the development of entrepreneurship in Koroškem. The Mayor of the Municipality of Slovenj Gradec, Tilen Klugler, also expressed great satisfaction with the constructive cooperation and networking.

The participants had the opportunity to listen to the inspiring entrepreneurial story of the proactive and successful entrepreneur Primož Gams, the authorized representative of the company Dogs4motion doo. His story is an inspiration and an example of good practice, demonstrating how it is possible to succeed and grow with the help of Carinthia's support programs with a lot of effort, dedication and will. This was followed by a discussion by representatives of support organizations, who shed light on the current challenges, needs and opportunities for the future development of entrepreneurship in the region.

The event concluded with a guided tour of the new business incubator MPIK Innovatorium Slovenj Gradec, which recently opened and represents a space where ideas are born, companies grow and the future of the Carinthian business community is being built. Together, we toured the production facilities and offices, and the event itself took place in a modern coworking space, where entrepreneurs, creators and teams share space, while maintaining their freedom. Everyone has access to equipment, meeting rooms, interactive whiteboards, printers, kitchenettes and stable wi-fi.

Those present agreed that the event further strengthened the efforts for a common, connected and effective support environment, which significantly contributes to the growth of the region and the strengthening of local entrepreneurship. The organizers were especially pleased with the praise from the representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sports (MGTS), who highlighted the fact that the operation of the Koroške support environment is truly a good example also at the national level.
