Partners from Serbia are excited about the offer Koroške
In May, we hosted tourism representatives from various agencies and media from Serbia for a four-day exploration of the destination Koroška. The study tour was carried out in partnership with TU Magazine .
TU Magazin is a printed professional magazine in the field of catering, hotel management and tourism, intended primarily for the professional public, management personnel in tourism, hotel management and catering, and top management of the consumer goods industry. The number of subscribers to the magazine is constantly increasing, and among them are mainly business readers with high purchasing power.

The program first took them through Slovenj Gradec , where they got to know the city center, visited the Koroško Slovenj Gradec Fine Arts Gallery and experienced a special experience in the Perger Honey Paradise , where the tradition of candy making, candle making and honey making is intertwined with a rich family story. They ended the day with exceptional cuisine at the Hotel Korošica , where they also stayed overnight in completely renovated rooms and thus experienced how elegance is intertwined with comfort.
The second day was dedicated to Mežiška The participants learned about the new tourist offer of Rimski vrelac , of the emerging Hotel Wada, tasted exceptionally culinary young chef Jure Dretnik (GT19), toured the sports facilities in Ravne on Koroškem, visited Štauharija or the Old Ironworks and learned about the industrial heritage of the area. They continued the day with a culinary stop at Gostilna Lečnik and an active exploration of the Peca Underground , where they experienced Koroško in a very special way – by bike through former mine shafts. A delicious dinner and overnight stay awaited them in the hospitable Hotel Delalut .
Also the beauties of the Drava River The valleys were not hidden from them. They visited the ruins of the Dravograd castle , learned the story of the Pahernik forests and the Radlje castle , visited the Radlje Water Park , tasted the local beer offer at the Time Brewery and experienced one of the most recognizable authentic experiences along the Drava River - rafting on the Drava River . On the last day, they were pampered with brand new accommodations and homeliness at the Rotovnik - Plesnik tourist farm .
The study tour thus ended in Mislinjska valley and thus the Carinthian experience was also symbolically rounded off. The participants visited the Kope mountain center , where they learned about the possibilities for active experiences in nature, the development of year-round offerings and the potential of mountain tourism. The last part of the program was dedicated to another of the most recognizable cycling stories Koroške – Štrekni . The participants took a cycling route that connects natural heritage, sustainable mobility and the development of active tourism in the region.
The study tour offered representatives of travel agencies and media from Serbia a comprehensive insight into the diversity of Koroške – from urban experiences, cultural and industrial heritage, cuisine and local stories to active experiences in nature. The visit is an important opportunity for further networking, promotion of the destination on the Serbian market and inclusion of Koroške in future tourism programs.
