Perseverance as the key to success: PONI RRA Koroška presented a new generation of future entrepreneurs in the region at Prevalje

The PONI program , which operates under the auspices of the Regional Development Agency for Koroško and is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union (ERDF) , has become a key generator of entrepreneurial breakthroughs in the region. At the event, we presented the concrete results of the project. To date , 146 participants have graduated from the program and entered the entrepreneurial path. 67 of them registered a company, and 85% of these companies are still actively operating . This places PONI RRA Koroška among the most effective entrepreneurial programs in Slovenia , as the numbers exceed national averages. We are proud and happy that PONI RRA Koroška is also among the finalists of the EU PROJECT, MY PROJECT 2026. The inclusion among the finalists represents an important recognition of the project and confirms its concrete effects in the region. It is therefore considered a real entrepreneurial accelerator.

The central topic of the event in Prevalje was a round table "Perseverance on the entrepreneurial path - from idea to action", moderated by the external mentor of the program and all-round successful entrepreneur Primož Gams from Dogs4motion doo.

This time the participants of the program were: Jana Jehart ( MarEla – handmade unique clothing for children ), Jasmina Kragelnik ( Riček – healthy foods, workshops and nutritional counseling ), Jan Laznik ( GOS – event platform ), Martina Lešnik ( ZAVOD Samosvoji – Health without borders ), Nejc Naveršnik ( Povh Tourist Farm – guided tours of the mill, accommodation and experience workshops ), Kristina Plevnik ( Tinavitex – custom nautical tarpaulins, renovation and upholstery ), Katja Poberžnik ( Yoga and Mathematics – yoga exercises, mathematics instruction and yoga trips to India ), Luka Primik ( PRIMOTION – personal coaching and massages ), Lana Simetinger Pečnik ( Pinkberry – creative creation of digital content for social networks ), Luka Štriker ( GOS events – platform for searching for concerts, comedies and parties ) and Valentina Zupančič ( Med drevesi – comprehensive support for well-being and mental health ). health through contact with nature ).

Under the auspices of the Regional Development Agency, we are opening the doors to new promising entrepreneurial ideas for Koroško very soon. That is also why, despite this fact, our gaze remains focused forward – towards new generations, new ideas and new opportunities. We are convinced that the continued implementation of the program is of exceptional importance, because only with continued support can stories be created that not only create companies, but also new jobs, innovations and the long-term development of the region. Koroška has ideas. With the PONI program, they also get the opportunity to come to life.
