Security and Defense Forum

What is needed to successfully establish cross-border partnerships in the field of defense and security industries? This central question will be at the heart of the upcoming Security & Defence Forum conference. The event will bring together representatives, decision-makers and experts from intergovernmental cooperation structures between Slovenia and Germany, as well as representatives of the automotive, security and defense industries .

Taking into account changing geopolitical dynamics and economic challenges, the conference will explore the potential for closer cooperation and discuss practical measures to strengthen resilience and competitiveness in the European security and defence sector .

A special focus of the discussions will be on how Slovenian companies can be targeted and supported to become more actively involved in German defense procurement procedures . The strategic path is highlighted as using the existing industrial base, production capacities and technological know-how of the automotive industry, with the aim of accelerating innovation and simultaneously strengthening the industrial and security-political structures of both countries.
