The project "Establishment of a public e-bike rental system in the Koroškem – Mežiška valley" also received co-financing

We are pleased to announce that the Municipality of Ravne na Koroškem and the Municipality of Prevalje have also received project approval in the public tender for co-financing sustainable mobility measures in the period 2023–2029.

The project represents an important step towards establishing a common public e-bike rental system on Koroškem, which will enable users to move between municipalities more easily, sustainably and connectedly.

There will be 12 e-bike rental stations and 48 public e-bikes in the Mežica Valley . This means that the system, together with the project in the Mislinja and Drava Valleys, will consist of: 27 stations and 110 e-bikes .

The following municipalities will be included in the common system: Municipality Dravograd, Municipality Muta, Municipality Mislinja, Municipality Radlje ob Dravi, City Municipality Slovenj Gradec, Municipality Ravne na Koroškem,
and Municipality Prevalje.

This will be a major step towards better sustainable mobility, reduced emissions and greater accessibility for residents, visitors and anyone who wants to explore Koroško in an environmentally friendly way within the region. We are happy and proud that together with the participating municipalities we will enable positive changes and contribute to the sustainable development of our region.
