Voucher for participation in economic delegations abroad
The Slovenian Enterprise Fund (hereinafter referred to as the SEF) has once again made it possible to submit applications for the V1 voucher, intended for co-financing the participation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in economic delegations abroad . The submission of applications was temporarily suspended in the previous period due to the preparation of substantive changes to the public call, with which the SEF ensures greater transparency and clearer conditions for the use of funds.
According to the amended public call , eligible costs are those incurred from 1 January 2025 onwards . The costs of participation of SMEs in economic delegations abroad, organised by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport, the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for the Promotion of Investment, Entrepreneurship and Internationalisation, the Slovenian Tourist Board, the Slovenian Enterprise Fund, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and the Chamber of Crafts and Entrepreneurship of Slovenia, are co-financed, whereby certificates of participation for the GZS and OZS can be issued exclusively by parent organisations and foreign chambers of commerce operating in Slovenia and organising delegations for Slovenian companies. The changes also apply to the updated form, which is a mandatory annex to the application for payment.
Eligible costs include the registration fee for participation in a business delegation abroad, up to a maximum of EUR 300.00, the cost of air travel in basic or economy class, and the cost of overnight stays or bed and breakfast. Eligible overnight stays are overnight stays during the duration of the delegation and a maximum of two additional overnight stays - arrival the day before the event and departure the day after the end of the official program.
Costs can be claimed for one participant per delegation , namely for the company owner, legal representative or employee.
Eligible costs may be claimed for a maximum of five days of the official programme of the economic delegation , regardless of the possible longer duration of the delegation. The official programme is considered to be the programme of activities carried out within the framework of the economic delegation in the country for which it was organised. The condition remains that only invoices paid with a company card may be claimed.
The subsidy amount is a minimum of EUR 300.00 and a maximum of EUR 2,000.00 . The voucher is intended to promote internationalization, integration with foreign markets, and strengthening the competitiveness of Slovenian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
