At RRA Koroška doo, we understand social responsibility as a way of operating and not just a formal obligation. We are aware that every organization – especially a public development institution – has a significant impact on the people, community and environment in which it operates.
That is why we have joined the European Socially Responsible Employer standard, implemented by the Ekvilib Institute. This has begun a long-term and structured process aimed at:
- systematic development of a quality working environment,
- strengthening employee relations,
- responsible impact on the wider social and local environment.
Our goal is to create a work environment that promotes responsibility, collaboration, and sustainable development – both within the organization and in the community in which we operate.

Social responsibility is an important part of our mission. We are aware that the decisions we make affect the quality of our employees' work, the partnership environment, and the development of the region.
By signing the Statement of Commitment to Social Responsibility, we have clearly and publicly confirmed that:

Within our agency, social responsibility is part of the strategic management of the organization . In practice, this means that we incorporate the principles of responsible and sustainable operations into our decisions, projects and daily work.
In this area we mainly carry out:
- public commitment of management to social responsibility and sustainable development,
- regular annual sustainability reporting , which provides an overview of the measures implemented and their effects,
- development of a social responsibility strategy as a living document that is regularly updated,
- Integrating sustainable development goals into projects and the organization's daily operations.
With this approach, we ensure transparency, accountability, and long-term orientation of the organization's operations.
Organizational culture
Our employees are one of the most important stakeholders in the organization. We recognize that in addition to their professional roles, our employees are also parents, partners, and active members of the community, which is why we pay special attention to creating a stimulating and balanced work environment.
We carry out numerous activities in this area:
- preparation of clear internal documents that regulate employment relationships, rights and obligations of employees,
- regular measurement of employee satisfaction through anonymous surveys,
- involving employees in co-designing organizational practices and improvements,
- promoting praise, recognition and a positive organizational climate ,
- appointing social responsibility ambassadors within the organization,

As a development agency, we are aware of our environmental footprint . That is why we integrate sustainability into our daily work and business processes.

- waste separation and sustainable purchasing practices,
- analysis of the organization's environmental impacts , which serves as a basis for continuous improvement.

Every year we prepare an annual sustainability report , in which:
- we report on the measures taken ,
- we monitor indicators of satisfaction, health, environment and organizational culture ,
- We provide insight into progress to all stakeholders .
