With the support of the founders , we guide the development of the region. The Assembly and Supervisory Board provide strategic direction.
RRA Koroška was founded in 2001 as a limited liability company. The company's articles of association state that the purpose of the company's activities is to promote regional and local development in the economic, social and environmental fields. The company operates as a non-profit organisation – the profits generated are not distributed among the members, but are invested in development programmes and projects in the region.
The ownership structure, which is distributed among all local communities of the Koroška region (41.18%), the state – the Slovenian Regional Development Fund (33.54%), companies – local business centers (9.48%) and regional chambers of commerce and trade (15.80%), demonstrates compliance with the requirements of the USSR. RRA Koroška is in majority public ownership and with a majority share of municipalities within the public share, with no municipality having more than a third of the founding share.
