With the PONI project, from an idea to your own company in 4 months
The PONI project is a 4-month entrepreneurial training program that offers comprehensive support in developing a business idea. A special feature of the project is that participants are employed for the duration of the program at RRA Koroška, which provides financial security and time to devote exclusively to the development of their business idea.
The program is designed to provide a structured learning and support process from idea to realization. With the help of experienced mentors, workshops, and networking, you will develop your business idea, test it in the market, and prepare for your independent entrepreneurial journey.
What does the project offer you?

Working with like-minded people and networking with entrepreneurs
Who can join the PONI project?
- Anyone who has an entrepreneurial idea and wants to turn it into a business by starting their own company.
- You have not yet been involved in similar programs on Koroškem or in other regions.
- You have permanent or temporary residence in the Carinthia region.
- All adults, regardless of age or education.
How can you get involved?
You can join the project by applying to the public call PONI – Enterprising over Challenges.
A public call is published every 4 months.
Deadline for applications for the 6th public call:
THURSDAY, November 27, 2025
The sixth group will include 11 participants.
How does the PONI program work?

1. step
Application and selection
Candidates apply for a public call for applications, and a committee selects the participants. -
2. step
Employment and start of training
Selected candidates sign an employment contract and begin a 4-month program. -
3. step
Entrepreneurship training
Participants acquire key knowledge through workshops, mentoring, and practical assignments. -
4. step
Business idea development
With the help of mentors, they design a business model, test the idea on the market, and create a business plan.
