The project includes a comprehensive set of activities aimed at implementing nature conservation measures to improve the condition of habitats and plant and animal species in the Natura 2000 Pohorje, Natura 2000 Devina and Natura 2000 Barbarski potok with tributaries in forest, grassland, river and wetland ecosystems. A significant part of the activities is focused on the Pohorje Regional Park area. In addition to direct nature conservation activities, interpretation, educational and awareness-raising activities will be carried out for the general public and local communities, which will strengthen awareness of the importance of nature protection. Mechanisms for guiding visitors and creating quiet areas will be upgraded, thereby striving to reduce the impact of human activities on sensitive habitats.
