Nature Friendly Rowing

The established and equipped entry points for rowing activities on the Drava River and the implemented regenerative measures in the areas along the river will contribute to the improvement of the green public tourism infrastructure and to the active conservation of nature. A functional cross-border tourism product will be developed, with common sustainability, quality and safety standards, trained staff and guaranteed logistical support, including sustainable mobility options. A program of communication activities will be implemented for the purposes of marketing the tourism product and raising awareness of users about nature conservation.

The general objectives of the "Nature-Friendly Rowing" project are to develop a new functional cross-border sustainable tourism product that will enable a more sustainable and nature-friendly use of natural resources for sports and recreational activities on and along the Drava River, to direct visitor flows, and to raise awareness among visitors and local residents about the nature-friendly use of natural resources.
