The Koroška (MPIK) network business incubator, which operates within the framework of the RRA Koroška – Regional Development Agency for Koroško, is entering its 15th year of operation. During this time, it has become a key support environment for the development of young, innovative and development-oriented companies in the region. In 2026, it remains true to its mission – to create comparable conditions for entrepreneurship to those offered by other regions, and thus contribute to the retention of talent in Koroškem.

MPIK currently offers premises in three Carinthian municipalities – the City Municipality of Slovenj Gradec, the Municipality of Ravne na Koroškem and the Municipality of Radlje ob Dravi. The infrastructure is owned by the municipalities, while RRA Koroška acts as the incubator's content manager.

Good news for entrepreneurs: office and production spaces are still available at MPIK, as well as jobs in a modern coworking space , which is the incubator's latest acquisition.

The spaces (office and production) are intended for young companies that are no older than 2 years at the time of entry, especially start-ups with development and growth potential. There are no special restrictions for coworking. It is intended for a very wide range of users, including those who do not yet have their own company.

MPIK has a total of around 4,800 m² of space , including 64 offices, 25 production spaces and a coworking space. A special advantage is the extremely affordable rents:
