The establishment of the Koroška Network Business Incubator, set up in four Koroška municipalities at six locations, has already partially improved the infrastructure and spatial conditions for young (innovative) companies, which in the establishment and initial growth phase provide them with a significant boost and greater chances of survival.
The Koroška Network Business Incubator (Phase III with support activities), in addition to establishing additional spatial infrastructure of the incubator at three locations (MPIK2 Dravograd, MPIK2 Ravne (Phase II) and MPIK2 Slovenj Gradec), also included a substantive upgrade of the spatial infrastructure - the so-called "support activities", the common goal of which is to raise entrepreneurial activities and entrepreneurial culture and support potential and existing companies in all phases of development.
With infrastructural conditions on the one hand and substantive support services on the other, an appropriate supportive environment is being established for the development of entrepreneurship, which is one of the basic drivers of employment, job creation, innovation, change, competitiveness and economic growth in the Koroška region.
