- The investment is financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. The project is implemented within the framework of the "Operational Programme for the Implementation of European Cohesion Policy in the period 2014-2020", the priority axis "Dynamic and Competitive Entrepreneurship for Green Economic Growth", within the framework of the implementation of the priority investment "Promoting entrepreneurship, in particular by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and encouraging the establishment of new businesses, including business incubators", specific objective 1 "Promoting the creation and operation of businesses, in particular start-ups.".
Purpose of the project:
The Entrepreneurial Beyond Challenges (PONI) project is an entrepreneurial training model in which potential entrepreneurs develop and realize their entrepreneurial idea in 4 months. This is achieved through a comprehensive 4-month program that includes entrepreneurial training, mentoring, and providing comprehensive assistance to participants in realizing their business idea.
Project result:
The result we are pursuing includes the inclusion of 80 potential participants in the PONI project training program, 80 new business plans developed and minimally acceptable products placed on the market, and 30% (or 24) of newly established business entities in the Koroška region over the entire period.
General project objectives:
- promoting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship,
- strengthening the entrepreneurial culture in the region,
- activating the entrepreneurial potential of the development region,
- improving the supportive environment for entrepreneurship development,
- overall economic development of the region.
Specific project objectives:
- starting new businesses,
- identifying entrepreneurial ideas,
- job creation and employment,
- raising the level of entrepreneurial knowledge for starting businesses,
- realization of entrepreneurial ideas.
