The Slovenian Enterprise Fund is offering two million euros in incentives for micro-enterprises in the wood industry
An individual company can receive between 15,000 and 70,000 euros, with co-financing of up to 60% of eligible project costs. We expect that more quality projects will be supported, contributing to technological progress and greater added value in the industry.
The call is aimed at promoting investments in modern technological equipment, digitalization of production processes, and the introduction of sustainable and circular solutions. Special emphasis is placed on projects that enable more efficient use of wood as one of Slovenia's key natural resources and contribute to the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Micro-enterprises with one to ten employees , registered for at least 18 months and operating in the field of wood processing or furniture production, are eligible to apply. The costs of purchasing new equipment, machinery, wood processing tools and software, as well as the costs associated with their installation and start-up (transport, assembly, start-up costs) are eligible.
Projects must be aimed at developing products with a higher level of wood processing and a sustainable impact, while projects related to the energy use of wood or energy production are not eligible for co-financing.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 29, 2026, at 2 p.m.
