Subject and purpose of the public call

The subject of the public call is non-refundable financial incentives to local communities for greater energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources in buildings throughout the Republic of Slovenia for certain new investments.

The purpose of the public call is to encourage the implementation of energy efficiency measures and the increase in the use of renewable energy sources in older buildings co-owned by local communities.

The right to a non-refundable financial incentive is granted only for a new investment. A new investment is an investment for the implementation of one or more of the measures listed below from A to J, which were fully implemented from 1 January 2024 until the publication of the conclusion of this public call in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia.

Eligible persons

The persons eligible to receive a non-refundable financial incentive under this public call are local communities that are investors in investments that will be carried out in/on buildings in their co-ownership, with the written consent of any other co-owners of the building.

Amount of non-refundable financial incentive

The amount of the non-refundable financial incentive is up to 40% of the eligible investment costs, including value added tax.
