Public call for funding for the education of children and young people to strengthen digital competences and encourage and promote scientific and technical professions for the years 2025 and 2026 (JR MLADI 2025-2026)
Subject of the public tender
The subject of the public tender is the financing of non-formal education programs for young people to promote interest in scientific and technical professions, digital technologies, their understanding and responsible and safe use, and the acquisition of digital competences up to and including level 6 according to the Digital Competence Framework for Citizens.
The public tender will finance activities divided into the following three components:
PACKAGE A: ICT content for girls and women;
SET B: Artificial Intelligence;
LOT C: Increasing the digital competences of children and young people.
Conditions for participation or potential beneficiaries
In the public tender, an applicant may apply individually or together with partners forming a consortium. The same business entity (independent applicant or consortium partner) may apply for several lots. The same business entity may apply only once within one lot – either as an independent applicant or as a consortium partner in one consortium. If a business entity applies for several roles within one lot, all roles in which it has applied will be excluded from the further procedure.
The applicant must meet the following conditions:
a) On the date of the deadline for submitting applications, one of the following activities is registered as the main activity: o pre-school education 85.100 or o primary education 85.200 or o secondary general education 85.310 or o secondary vocational and technical education 85.320 or o post-secondary non-tertiary education 85.330 or o post-secondary education 85.401 or o higher education 85.402 or o non-formal education 85.590.
b) Has at least two (2) employees as of March 1, 2025.
c) In the period from 1 January 2021 until the application for the public tender, he/she has carried out and successfully completed at least 15 activities in the form of training, workshops or lectures for young people aged 6 to 29 on the topic of digital competences for a minimum duration of four (4) teaching hours (a teaching hour lasts 45 minutes).
