Public call for proposals to promote the introduction of environmental and sustainable labels for providers in the hospitality and tourism industry 2025
Through this public tender, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture also co-finances the costs of extending an already obtained certificate (re-certification).
Interested parties can also obtain free advice regarding the call for tenders and preparation of applications from Slovenian Business Advice Points (SPOT Advice Points), which are available in all statistical regions. Locations and contact details of SPOT Advice are available.
Subject of the public tender
The subject of the call is the co-financing of the costs of obtaining an internationally recognized environmental or sustainability label. The labels that are subject to co-financing are the following: EU Ecolabel - EU ECOLABEL, Bio Hotels, Green Globe, Green Key, Travelife ABTA for accommodations, Travelife ECEAT for travel agencies and tour operators, Ecocamping, Authentic Luxury, Hostelling International Quality & Sustainability, B Corp and Good Travel Seal.
The applicant may request co-financing in the application for the introduction of one environmental/sustainability label for one accommodation facility, catering establishment, tourist attraction or agency.
Beneficiaries
The call for applications is open to legal and natural persons, associations and other entities of public and private law operating in the field of tourism and hospitality and registered for activity under SKD 2025 55.100, 55.201, 55.202, 55.203, 55.204, 55.209, 55.300, 79.110, 79.120, 93.110, 49.340 or 82.300, 56.111, 56.112, 56.114, and who have not previously received funds from the Ministry for the purpose of introducing an environmental label for the same tourist accommodation, catering establishment, tourist attraction or agency, mountain or congress center.
