Public tender for the selection of co-financing of investments in sports infrastructure in 2026

Subject of the public tender

The subject of the public tender is the co-financing of eligible costs of investments by municipalities in the renovation, new construction, modernization or reconstruction of public sports infrastructure[1], whereby the selected applicant may claim eligible costs incurred from 1 January 2026 onwards (the exception is the cost related to the preparation of investment and project documentation, which represents an eligible cost even if the investment and project documentation was prepared before 1 January 2026), in accordance with the provisions of this public tender.

Conditions for participation or potential beneficiaries

Eligible applicants for this public call are municipalities. In the application for the public call, the municipality must explain whether the investment it is applying for co-financing for this public call (hereinafter: the applied investment) covers the entire project or only part of the entire municipal project, whereby the entire municipal project means the investment that the municipality, in accordance with the Regulation on the uniform methodology for the preparation and processing of investment documentation in the field of public finance (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos. 60/06, 54/10 and 27/16; hereinafter: the UEM Regulation), places in the valid municipal budget or in the budget amendments in 2026 (hereinafter: the municipal project).
