Public call for funding activities to improve entrepreneurship competencies for the period 2025-2029
Purpose of the public tender
The purpose of the public tender is to promote entrepreneurial activity among the target group of young people up to and including 29 years of age and the target group of women, to utilize their capabilities, to promote innovation and creativity, and to strengthen entrepreneurial competences, thus achieving greater entrepreneurial activity among young people up to and including 29 years of age and women, through financing activities to increase entrepreneurial competences.
The aim of the public tender is to establish a supportive environment for strengthening entrepreneurial competences in the field of (self-)employment of young people up to and including 29 years of age and women, which would help to improve access to employment and activation measures for all job seekers, especially young people, primarily within the framework of the implementation of the Youth Guarantee, the long-term unemployed and disadvantaged groups on the labor market, and inactive persons, as well as by promoting self-employment and the social economy.
Subject of the public tender
The subject of the public tender is the financing of activities to strengthen entrepreneurial competences through training, mentoring and other forms of promoting entrepreneurial activities.
The following activities will be financed within the framework of the public tender, which are defined in more detail in the tender documentation for the relevant tender, under point III. 4.:
1. START SMART and GROW UP training
Each of the trainings consists of 5 modules and lasts 50 school hours. During the START SMART and/or GROW UP trainings, the target groups of the operation will be given various entrepreneurial knowledge and skills in the form of modules. After each completed module, the knowledge of the participants is tested within the operation. Each individual can attend one or both trainings. For successfully completed training, participants receive certificates from the provider, which is one of the conditions of the public call for support for young entrepreneurs.
2. Mentoring participants after successfully completing START SMART and/or GROW UP training.
Through active participation, a training participant can obtain additional support in the form of mentoring, namely:
- 5 hours of mentoring after successfully completing START SMART training and/or
- 8 hours of mentoring after successfully completing the GROW UP training.
For successfully completed mentoring, participants receive certificates from the provider, which is one of the conditions of the public call for support for young entrepreneurs.
3. Coordination, implementation and management of the public tender operation.
Beneficiaries
Only a consortium – i.e. a lead partner with consortium partners who submit an appropriate legal act on the joint implementation of services and activities – can apply for the public tender. One consortium will be selected to implement the activities throughout Slovenia.
